Despite its somewhat odd name,
Superbudget Kids: Preschool Songs is a surprisingly strong collection of singalong songs that doesn't forsake quality for quantity. The kids that sing on the album don't sound overly sweet or overly amateurish -- they sound like children with some vocal training, but the emphasis is on their young, fresh voices and not on trying to make them sound perfect. The 30 songs on the album include a sizeable number of classic singalongs, including "Do Your Ears Hang Low?," "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain," "O Susanna," and "Old MacDonald Had a Farm." With so many songs, it's possible that kids' attention spans may be shorter than the album, but as the title implies,
Superbudget Kids: Preschool Songs does offer a lot of bang for the buck. ~ Heather Phares
