This is
the Bushwackers' second album. It contains mostly traditional Australian songs played on traditional instruments, save for the electric bass. Several of the band's most recognizable songs debuted on this album, like "To the Shores of Botany Bay," "Jog Along Till Shearing," and "The Woolloomooloo Lair," along with their two signature songs, "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" and "Waltzing Matilda." Those two selections will be forever associated with
the Bushwackers and are found on virtually all of their subsequent retrospective releases in live, remix, and original versions. This is generally regarded as one of their finest recordings, as evidenced by the placement of so many of these songs on
Bushwackers best-of collections like So Far...1974-1994. ~ Dave Sleger
