Asian Spa features ten new age instrumentals that fuse Asian-inspired melodies with restful nature sounds like waterfalls and chirping birds. Donald Quan's compositions are largely keyboard-based, but they do feature some other Asian touches, such as the violin on "The Essence of Being" and the flutes on "Quiet Contemplation."
