Body and Soul, finally established her as a serious singer/songwriter after a number of years of minor success.
Mostly an album of sunny, straightforward pop topped by
Morris' strong but unexceptional vocals, the album was more than redeemed by the superb
Neil Finn-penned "You I Know." That song became a huge hit and helped propel the album into the upper reaches of the Australian charts.
A pleasant, upbeat album, but not memorable enough to make it necessary. ~Jonathan Lewis
