It's probably not very easy to be one of the only white boys down South doing gangsta rap. It's not that Tow Down tries to be overly hardcore, but his Dirty South background can't hide for long, nor does he want it to. This album has some interesting tunes, including a couple of key remixes by veterans DJ Screw and Eazy-E. Lots of the songs are "screwed," meaning they follow the style of the great DJ Screw, who has been followed by hundreds in recent years, most notably groups from Texas. Guest appearances are made by Lil' Flip, Big Pokey, C-Note, South Park Mexican, and more, some serious players in that portion of gangsta rap. Smooth and interesting throughout, the drug and pharmaceutical tip is maintained over the album, so expect a bit of drug talk.
