Cave features the
Software "team" of Billy Byte and
Michael Weisser composing and Steve Totenberg performing. It is a fairly weak effort. It is standard fare autonomic electronica. There is very little originality and no emotion. It sounds like reworked
Kraftwerk, only more robotic. There are some harp samples from
Lisa Franco for which she received no compensation. She did not give permission for the samples, either. This disc is out of print and should be available in cutout bins. At two dollars or less, buy it. More than two dollars is a ripoff. ~ Jim Brenholts
