Essentially a Latina version of the Pussycat Dolls, Chic-Pack offers up a set of club-ready tunes that are accented by a traditional Mexican norteno vibe. While the buoyant opener, "La Pagaras," sets up the Chic-Pack template, "Siquitibum" perfects it, with propulsive beats that push the catchy melody forward. The disc also includes two additional takes on "Siquitibum"--a shuffling reggaeton rendition and an accordion-led cumbia version.
