ALBUM

Released in 2010, Clair is the second solo album from former Les Innocents frontman Jean-Philippe Nataf. Combining acoustic folk-pop with subtle dub and hip-hop influences, the follow-up to Plus de Sucre reunites -- for the first time in ten years -- the French singer/songwriter (often compared to nouvelle chanson pioneer Benjamin Biolay) with his ex-bandmate Jean-Christophe Urbain, who contributes to several tracks. ~ Jon O'Brien
