At first "It's Not Right But It's Okay" had been relegated to being the lowly B-side of Whitney Houston's "Heartbreak Hotel" single (which featured Faith Evans and Kelly Price). However, the Thunderpuss remix of "It's Not Right But It's Okay" proved so successful that a separate single was issued for the song. The single featured both the edit and full-length Thunderpuss remix, as well as several new versions of the song which did not appear on "Heartbreak Hotel." The electrifying Johnny Vicious remixes, which did appear on the previous single, do not appear on this here. The new highlights of this disc include the smoothed out, mellow Rodney Jerkins mix, which turns the disco anthem into a ballad, and works surprisingly well (incidentally, the original album version was not a dance song). Also featured on this single are several irresistibly groovy Club 69 remixes (with an amazingly infectious guitar riff), including an edited radio mix, the "Future Club Mix," and the "Future Dub." Finally, this single includes the almost-ten-minute-in-length "Hex Hector Club Mix" of one of Houston's signature songs, the immortal "I Will Always Love You" (an edit of which later surfaced on her Greatest Hits compilation).
