The original
Nitwitz existed from 1978 to 1982, catching the last scraps of the punk movement before changing singers and renaming themselves BGK. Some 15 years later they've reformed and cut a new album, sounding like the intervening years hadn't happened at all. The band still plays in the same loud'n'fast style as they did back in the late '70s and tunes like "Drunk Tank Celebrity," "Landmine Heart," "Superslob" and "Jackass" show that their lyrical concerns haven't changed much, either. Loads of energy and angst. ~ Cub Koda
