Deep Roots starts with three very strong Channel 1 tracks topped by
Tapper Zukie toasting, but after that, it gets very hit-and-miss, and very confusing. It's a weird one, folks, smacking of an odds-and-sods mix of stray singles or random tracks thrown together from widely scattered periods of his career. The liner notes give a brief career recap with no specific info and the credit "All songs from that time until this time were written, arranged, and sung by
Tapper Zukie," which doesn't exactly clear anything up.
