Malú's sixth studio album,
Desafío (2006), failed to rival the popularity of previous efforts but was a blockbuster success all the same. Like its predecessor,
Malú (2005), it reached number two on the Spanish albums chart and earned platinum sales certification. Produced by Mauri Stern and Graeme Pleeth, the 11-track album is highlighted by the singles "Si Estoy Loca" and "No Voy a Cambiar." ~ Jason Birchmeier
