Devirginated Genital Pulp is not for the squeamish, or weak of stomach. In fact, unless you combine said fortitude of body and spirit with a deep understanding of the grindcore genre, this may not even seem like music to you. But music it is, albeit of the most grotesque, deformed, gag-inducing variety imaginable. Bowel-churning grunts, blistering guitar work, raw speed, and a blackened sense of humor inform album standouts like "Axe vs. Throat," "Crush the Skull," and the especially riff-tastic "Impetuous Bloodshed." Including the final gross-out of "To Fuck the Rotted" (seriously, it's one of their best tracks), all of the growling is over in time for a yummy dinner -- making for a classic slab of grindcore for committed fans. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
