Dirty Wake is a fairly typical-sounding, well-constructed post-grunge record. The band's arrangements utilize both gentle acoustic guitar picking and lightly funked-up, electric power chords, making for a nice blend of rock aggression and introspective reflection. ~ Steve Huey
