For their sixth studio album, Barcelona indie rock trio Sidonie decided to revert the progression into pop of their last two albums and return to their psychedelic roots. Inspired conceptually by Enrique Gaspar y Rimbau's early science fiction novel El Anacronópote (1887) and musically by English rock circa 1966-1968, El Fluido García packs together a powerful sound, '60s melodies, and intricate vocal harmonies, as in the singles "El Bosque" and "A Mil Años Luz," as well as the four-part CSNY-influenced "Bajo un Cielo Azul (De Papel Celofán)." Digital editions add demo bonus tracks.
