Originally announced as an album,
Eye of the Storm ends up being an EP meant to expand upon the story of
ICP's 2007 album
The Tempest. Blood, guts, and carnival rides rule the roost once again, but the production is handled by
ICP’s secret weapon,
Mike E. Clark, so expect some surprises in those
Danny Elfman-like melodies and those heavy metal beats. Still, there are no possible singles here and the whole thing smells like leftovers, but hardcore fans get secrets and hidden messages, so leave this one for the serious hatchet men or women in your life. ~ David Jeffries
