Feeling Like a Hundred Bucks sounds like it could have been huge -- most of its composition is in line with the sort of vaguely indie, post-grunge rock that dominated "alternative" radio and much of MTV in the late '90s. In an independent context, however, this oh-so-standard sound is a fairly large liability -- decent hooks and songwriting don't quite make up for the lack of stylistic innovation and slick production the record features.
