This collection of early recordings by the early-1970s British prog-rock legends Wishbone Ash contains original versions of "Lady Whiskey," "Blind Eye," and the extended opus "Handy." As evidenced here, in its earliest incarnation the band's twin-guitar attack combined the approach of such West Coast rockers as the Grateful Dead with the enthusiasm of the British blues boom, in addition to liberal doses of psychedelia. An added bonus is a vocal version of the instrumental "Alone," from the band's second album, PILGRIMAGE.
