Black Eagle, a group of brothers and cousins from the reserve of Jemez in New Mexico, has captured the intense and ecstatic mood of abandon and celebration with the songs on this album. Though incidental sounds make it sound like a live album, Black Eagle actually went to great lengths to maintain a feeling of spontaneity while recording in the studio.
