Sony Legacy's 2009 budget-line release
Etta James From the Heart gathers 15 popular romantic themes taken from the singer's late- '90s, early- '00s catalog with the exception of "At Last" which is from 1960. While the disc contains several enjoyable moments including "I've Been Lovin' You Too Long," "Try a Little Tenderness," "My Funny Valentine," and "Night and Day," the selection is too haphazard to make the collection a good introduction to that era of her career. Please note that this edition includes the exact same track listing as the 2006 RCA Victor/Legacy release
