Madonna's remake of "Fever," from the album
Erotica, was released as a single in Europe (hence the review of this French import) but in the U.S. was relegated to the B-side of "Bad Girl." "Fever" did, however, top the American dance charts. The U.S. maxi-single of "Bad Girl" contains most the tracks on this import single, save for an album edit and two others: "Shep's Remedy Dub" and "Murk Boys Miami Mix." The "Shep's Remedy Dub" is just what the title indicates, a dub mix, and the other mix offers the song with a different bassline, but still maintaining its deep house groove. A big disappointment, however, is that neither this single nor "Bad Girl" feature the video version of "Fever," which is arguably the best and is completely unavailable commercially.
