Gli Anni features 16 of Italian pop group 883's best-known songs along with a live recording of "Leggero." 883 is best known for being Max Pezzali's band; he either wrote or co-wrote every song on this album except for "Leggero," and his name is prominently displayed on this album's cover. Some of the songs compiled on Gli Anni include "Io Ci Saro'," "Nord Sud Ovest Est," "Tieni Il Tempo," "Rotta Per Casa Di Dio," "Una Canzone D'Amore," and more.
