His fifth album finds the Dublin folk-pop singer/songwriter leaning even further toward an R&B approach than on his previous record, 2017's
True Care. Recorded at locations in the U.S, the U.K., and Ireland, the sessions were produced by
McMorrow, with contributions from such luminaries as
Paul Epworth and
Kenny Beats, the latter of whom appears on the single "I Should Go." Also featured here is the sparse, acoustic ballad "Waiting," a track closer in tone to material from his 2010 debut
Early in the Morning. ~ James Wilkinson
