This 20-track British compilation consists of unidentified re-recordings of some of
Pat Boone's hits of the 1950s and '60s, along with other recordings.
Boone hasn't gotten any better at singing
Little Richard standards or the more pop-styled tunes that are more suitable to his approach. Among the non-hits is a version of the 1972 song "I Believe in Music," which may give a hint to when these tracks were recorded.
Boone is in good voice and does his usual professional job, but most fans would rather hear the originals. ~ William Ruhlmann
