Groove Temple is another solid effort in the same vein. Here the emphasis is on pulsating rhythm and synths laced throughout with exotic instruments like the sarod, dumbeck, hajouj, and tablas. Highlights include "Kikuyu," with its mournful cello lead and African drums;
Lost at Last's "Radhe," a pulsating Vedic chant with a plaintive female vocal; the hypnotic "Inner Horizon"; and
Karunesh's "Punjab," with its ecstatic Indian-flavored vocal. The tracks flow into one another with ease -- a credit to producer
