Routine vintage British hard rock, heavy on the multi-directional guitar lines, with some vocals in the macho, swaggering sub-
Robert Plant style of the era. The guitarists are accomplished, so this might have some appeal to rock-guitar freaks with a special passion for the sound of the time; otherwise it's just a curiosity. It does include their nine-minute version of "Pomp and Circumstance" (copyright obstacles surrounding the track helped prevent the release of the album when it was originally recorded). ~ Richie Unterberger
