Halunke is rapper
Baba Saad's fourth album and his first since leaving
Bushido's Ersguterjunge label in 2011. Released on his own new label Halunkenbande,
Halunke offers 17 tracks that mostly showcase
Saad's street and battle raps, but also include a few more serious tracks such as "Youssef" (about
Saad's late grandfather) and "Ein Paar Sekunden" (a story about a woman who unknowingly gets involved with her brother's murderer).
Halunke features guest appearances by
Chakuza (on "Hör' auf die Melodie") and Joka (on "Amphetamin"), and entered the German album charts at number 16. ~ Christian Genzel
