There is nothing wrong with the music contained on
Hecho en Cuba, Vol. 2, but like its predecessor, it merely repackages the music of the
Buena Vista Social Club participants one more time, with obscure tracks (without any real references as to where they came from) from their discographies, and places them willy-nilly next to one another. Other than a groovy slipbox that resembles a cigarette case, there is no reason to admire or even pay attention to this compilation. ~ Thom Jurek
