This disc is rendered much like the hide of an animal: stripped of life and beaten until it becomes nothing but product. What the
Hooked On series did to jazz, big band and classical, it does to beloved carols and popular holiday favorites (no less than 42 bite-size ditties on one disc!). It's one of those things that doesn't really even have kitsch value. ~ Tim Sheridan
