Lee "Shot" Williams may have a reputation for singing the blues and R&B, but here he's taken a complete leap back into the time machine, landing solidly in '70s disco. While his resilient voice is fully pronounced, instrumentally he's stuck in third-rate Gamble-Huff production values with only tired dance beats, synthesized horns, cooing female backup vocals, and trite lyrics to show for it. Dated tunes like "Thirty Minutes" or the self-indulgent talkin' lyrics of "Got a Good Woman" are emphasized by
