Green Umbrella's 2007 Icons may be cheaply produced, but it does have original recordings from Elvis, so in that sense it could be seen as a bargain, especially as the double-disc set weighs in at a hefty 47 tracks. Not all of these are hits -- some of the material is '50s LP filler or derived from '60s soundtracks -- but this has a lot of '50s and early-'60s singles from Elvis, including a strong dose of Sun and early RCA sides that make this a good listen. This same material can be found easily elsewhere, but if this comp can be found cheaply, it's not a bad bargain.
