Created as the soundtrack music for a Survival Anglia TV film about Madagascar, this nifty album sees
Rossy crossing traditional music with modern instruments in a blend that's very heady, sometimes hauntingly mysterious, sometimes highly propulsive, and sometimes simply sweet and beautiful. There are messages in the lyrics, though, that go with the film -- about the gradual destruction of Madagascar's ecosphere. It's hard to believe that such wonderful music can be about such tragedy.
