Crypt Records' Jungle Exotica 2 features underground exotica rock from '60s groups like the Five Notes, the Saxons, the Merits, and the Fabulous Cyclones. Most of the songs here feature the expected tribal beats and wailing vocals, mixed with some surfy guitars, as the Nitecats' "Jungle" and the Scouts' "Mr. Custer Stomp" demonstrate. Due to the very limited range in this style, the collection gets somewhat repetitive early on, and some may find song titles like "Arabian Jerk" and "Harem Orgy" offensive. For the most part, however, Jungle Exotica 2 offers a refreshing change of pace from
