Like many of their peers in the emo-saturated market of the early 21st century,
the Snake the Cross the Crown find themselves as very passionate about their music, knowledgeable about how to use hooks, and doing their best to be unique by adding keyboards. The keyboards help a great deal by adding more atmosphere to the songs. The vocals are sung somewhat nasally, but certainly endearing and talented. With only six songs, it's hard to get a real good taste for the band. However, for the most part, there's not a lot to tell this quintet apart from many other emo acts. ~ Kurt Morris
