Subtitled "18 rock'n'roll love songs," this is a very listenable compilation of 50s and early 60s chart toppers. While the emphasis is clearly on the pop side of the equation (
Johnny Tillotson,
the Chordettes, and Frankie Avalon's two entries apiece), this also rounds up some sides (the Skyliners' "This I Swear" and Curtis Lee's uptempo "Pretty Little Angel Eyes" and "Under The Moon Of Love") that usually don't make the final cut on these types of compilation or surface on compact disc all that often. Transfers of the material are excellent and for a midline-budget disc, this is one great value.
