After the release of 2005's New York City tribute album, BLEEDING LIGHT, Jon DeRosa, leader and sole continuous member of the Brooklyn avant-pop collective Aarktica, moved out to Southern California and brought with him his simultaneously swirling and minimalist compositional bent.
