Ram Trilogy's full debut was undeniably built with the same blueprint used by most dark drum'n'bass producers, but for once the neuro-funk sound gets challenged a bit. The trio take plenty of care with their production, moving the sound away from brittle metallics to embrace a variety of sounds. The drum programming is an advance as well; though the difference isn't astounding, it's clear they've constructed their beats from the ground up, and the overall result is an album that clearly separates
Ram Trilogy from the ranks of sound-alike jungle.
