Moonbootica present a mix of retro-electro, hip-hop, and house on this self-titled 2005 release. If it wasn’t for the 21st century bass kicks, the singles “Listen” and “Pretty Little Angel” could be passed as electro from the new wavey ‘80s, while chilled tracks like the slinky “Hildegarde” and the strutting “Pimp of the Year” show off the group’s sly sense of humor.
