Obviously quite knowledgeable of Celtic musical traditions but not really of a purist mindset, the foursome successfully unites electric keyboards with bagpipes, fiddles, whistles and other acoustic instruments. Sometimes instrumental and sometimes not, the CD ranges from arrangements of traditional Celtic pieces like "The Highland Man Kissed His Grannie," "Calum Fhionnlaigh" and "The Golden Eagle" to charming songs by vocalist/leader [wimpLink artistId="3879993"]Alan Reid[/wimpLink] such as "The Green And The Blue" and "Darien."
