Despite what some might say, being a one-hit wonder is no disgrace. Most musicians would kill to have one hit that people remembered 30 years later, like the tracks on this disc. The disgrace comes when you re-record your one hit for a tacky compilation like K-Tel's
One Hit Wonders, an 18-song collection that features the likes of
R. Dean Taylor ("Indiana Wants Me"),
Climax ("Precious and Few"),
Andrea True ("More, More, More"), and
Alan O'Day ("Undercover Angel") doing updated versions of their moments in the sun. Unsurprisingly, not a single one is worth hearing. If this were a collection of the original versions, it would have been an excellent disc. It's not. It's bad. Don't buy it.
