Luka Bloom, White is difficult to categorize, mixing and matching folk, pop, jazz and rock influences under a smooth, sing-speak Irish brogue.
White, however, is much less the romantic, his songwriting leaning more to acerbic wit. "Speechless" segues tales from a North American tour with harrowing images of the Gulf War and African starvation.
