De Rotterdamse rapper Hef vestigt in een klap zijn naam met zijn debuutalbum Hefvermogen, waarop hij raps over het leven in de Rotterdamse wijk Hoogvliet combineert met laidback beats. Na optredens op festivals als Metropolis en Solar Weekend zijn de verwachtingen hooggespannen voor zijn tweede album. Het numer "Kluis" dat aan de cd vooraf gaat wordt op Youtube maar liefst 250.000 keer bekeken. In 2012 verschijnt het tweede album Papierwerk, waarmee Hef (echte naam: Julliard Frans) zijn reputatie als een van de meest getalenteerde rappers van Nederland bevestigt.
