Peter Cox's eponymous solo debut finds the former
Go West singer working familiar adult contemporary and polished blue-eyed soul territory, turning out a set of songs that rely as much on production as tunes.
Cox has a pleasant but unremarkable voice, which means that the success of the album depends on the quality of the songs.
