COMPILATION

It may come as a shock to some that David Lanz isn't represented in this collection. It doesn't make a difference, however, as the music here is uniformly gentle, well played and engaging -- I'm particularly impressed by contributions from Sheldon Mirowitz and Ira Stein. There's less of a direct focus on "new age" in the writing, which helps, and a lot more classical influence. A worthwhile collection. ~ Steven McDonald
