Following the release of his third solo album, simply titled
3, in 2003,
Calogero undertook an extensive French tour, which yielded a concert set entitled
Live 1.0, released two years later in 2005. Following a lengthy break from touring and recording,
Calogero returned with his fourth studio album,
Pomme C, in 2007.
