The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra covers 12 pop hits including Adele's "Hello," Pharrell Williams' "Happy," and Coldplay's "Fix You" on their
Pop Goes Classical collection. The tracks are reimagined as orchestral arrangements and highlight the strength of the original compositions and the skill of the arrangers, while acting as a vehicle for the orchestra's artistry. Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is treated to a hint of Holst, and the Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" is given a touch of Mozart. ~ Bekki Bemrose
