Posadas, Pinatas y Navidad features Christmas songs by such Latin artists as
los Flamers,
Pedro Fernandez, and
Manoella Torres. Many of the tracks are Spanish-language versions of Christmas classics, including Marco Llunas' "Rodolfo el Reno" ("Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"),
Tatiana's "Blanca Navidad" ("White Christmas"), and Mestizzo's "Paseo en Trineo" ("Sleigh Ride"), although there are also original songs like "Ven a Mi Casa Esta Navidad" sung by all the performers and "Una Limosna Para Este Pobre Viejo," a traditional Latin Christmas song. This collection isn't a definitive album of Spanish-language holiday songs, but it's pleasant enough that most fans of Latin music will probably enjoy it. ~ Heather Phares
