Just like his debut album, German rapper
Kay One's second solo record,
Prince of Belvedair, was released on
Bushido's Ersguterjunge label.
Bushido himself turns up on three of the album's 20 tracks ("Lagerfeld Flow," "Boss," and "Outro"), with other guests including
Emory (on three tracks), Shindy (on two),
Benny Blanko (on "Unter Palmen"), and R&B singer
Mario Winans (on the first single, "I Need a Girl, Pt. 3").
Kay One mostly presents himself as a playboy and party animal, but also adds a few more serious tracks ("Herz aus Stein," "An Tagen Wie Diesen"). Mostly produced by
Beatzarre and
Djorkaeff, the album entered the German album charts at number four and is also available as a premium edition with three bonus tracks and a DVD. ~ Christian Genzel
