Artful Dodger, kings of the club circuit in England, have remixed various tracks for other artists, and have collected these efforts on the appropriately-titled RE-REWIND. Mark Hill and Pete Devereaux mix it up with elements of R&B, reggae, drum-and-bass, and breakbeat. They've worked with an impressive group of people including All Saints, Robbie Craig, and United Groove Collective.
Artful Dodger UK take a slightly more pro-active approach to remixing that many of their UK garage peers: instead of time-stretching vocals, the duo usually re-record vocals for their remixes, and this pair's interest in jazz, hip-hop, and house music is reflected in their rather eccentric remixes.
