Competing on The Voice enabled veteran CCM artist
Anthony Evans to broaden his reach. His first album since being exposed to a nationwide audience,
Real Life/Real Worship was produced entirely by newcomer
Max Stark, who provides a stylistically broad set of material that incorporates
Evans' expected CCM and contemporary gospel flavors, as well as straightforward rock and a fair amount of EDM-laced dance-pop.
Evans' lyrical approach remains the same, and he sounds comfortable over the gleaming synthesizers and battering drums that run through just over half of the album's songs. ~ Andy Kellman
